We are currently working our way through "The Practice of Godliness" by Jerry Bridges. It...
Serving the Lord is what we are about. Jesus commanded us to go and make disciples. The best way to make disciples is to live life with those around us and love on them in the name of Christ. One way we do that is by participating in the various ministries HPF offers.
Missions and ministries are where the "rubber meets the road" and the people of HPF become the hands and feet of Christ as we serve.
The women of HPF meet weekly at 9:15 a.m. on Sunday's for Bible study and fellowship.
ESL is a ministry through which non-English speakers learn basic conversational English. Currently, there are two classes meeting at the same time - a beginners level class and an intermediate level class.
Classes meet every Tuesday night @ 6:30 p.m. at the Hope Center.
Lighthouse on the Plains is a Bible study for those who are battling addictions, sinful lifestyles or habits. This study focuses on God's design for your life, so it is also a good study if you are battling depression or past hurts.
Lighthouse on the Plains meets each Sunday at 6:00 p.m.
Sharing Hands is a ministry where we "share and show the love of Christ" in our community. Through this ministry we send cards, flowers, meals, and blankets for those battling life's tragedies and illnesses.
The youth of HPF meet each Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m. for Bible study, fun and fellowship. The Bible studies are designed to challenge the young people while growing in the knowledge of the Lord.
